Their SER5 Mini PC with Ryzen 5 5500U, 16GB RAM, and 500GB SSD sells for approximately R6,282, whereas a similarly-equipped Intel NUC costs nearly twice as much.


Warranty and Support: What You Get


Warranty coverage varies dramatically across brands. Asus provides a generous three-year limited warranty on NUC products, covering all hardware items included in the box. Accordingly, this extended coverage adds significant value, albeit at a higher initial cost. Dell's support packages include next-business-day repairs, yet these services generally come with additional fees beyond the standard warranty.

Based on my testing, the Blackview MP100 hits the sweet spot between performance and price unless you specifically need the tiny form factor of the MP60 or the raw power of the MP200.


After three months of pushing these mini PCs to their limits, I can confidently say these tiny machines deliver far more than their size suggests.
